Tragic Road Accident in Rajasthan's Pali: Four Family Members Killed, Three Critically Injured

Pali, May 2 In a heartbreaking road accident early Thursday morning, four members of the same family lost their lives and three others sustained serious injuries in the Sumerpur area of Pali district, Rajasthan. The accident occurred around 3:15 AM on the Beawar-Pindwara highway near the Jakhanagar bypass, when a speeding car collided with a stationary truck.

Driver Dozed Off, Leading to Fatal Crash

According to Sumerpur Sadar Police Station Officer Bhagaram Meena, preliminary investigations suggest the driver may have dozed off at the wheel, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. The car rammed into a parked truck with such intensity that it was completely mangled, killing four people on the spot.

Victims Were Returning Home from Mumbai

All the victims were residents of Dialana Kalan village in the Khinwara police station area of Pali district and were returning home from Mumbai. The deceased have been identified as:

• Suresh Rawal (49), son of Sohanlal Rawal

• Sita Devi (45), wife of Suresh Rawal

• Prahlad (14), son of Suresh Rawal

• Vishnu (14), son of Uttam Rawal

The injured are being treated at Sumerpur Government Hospital and include:

• Anita (38), wife of Praveen Rawal

• Diya (18), daughter of Praveen Rawal

• Harshita (18), daughter of Suresh Rawal

Police have launched an investigation and are questioning the truck driver to determine further details. The devastating accident has plunged the entire village of Dialana Kalan into mourning.
