Vitla: A late-night accident occurred on Saturday, May 31, when an Alto car overturned and fell into a roadside drain at the Alakemajalu curve on the Vitla-Puttur road.
According to reports, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn and collide with an electric pole. Both the car and the pole sustained damage in the incident.
It is suspected that the occupants of the car managed to escape by breaking the window glass. Further details are awaited.
