Knee-deep into the campaign for the upcoming US presidential elections, Kamala Harris's husband, Doug Emhoff and Democrat nominee Tim Walz were seen blowing off steam with their kids in a cafe in Arizona.
In a video shared on X, Emhoff and Walz answered their kids' questions about their favorite food and the music they listen to while on the campaign trail.
"I've been listening to a lot of Springsteen, REM, a lot of happy music," Tim Walz replied.
He also shared a memorable moment from a recent event where musicians Michael Stipe and Jason Fahl performed. Walz noted that Stipe sang "Driver 8" for the first time in 16 years.
The children then shifted their focus to food, asking about the best meals Emhoff and Walz had enjoyed during the campaign. Emhoff expressed his delight with the cinnamon buns they were enjoying, and said, "This cinnamon bun is pretty good. We had two of them. There's almost none left!"
As the video drew to a close, Emhoff and Walz encouraged their children and the audience to actively participate in the electoral process, urging them to "Get out there and vote. We love you guys."
