A crazy conspiracy theory has started gaining ground that the Coldplay kisscam scandal featuring former CEO Andy Byron and HR head Kristin Cabot was not an accident. "Why did Coldplay manage to expose a cheating couple out of 60,000 people? No one realized this probably wasn’t an accident," the caption of the video that went viral because of its weird explanation said.
According to this conspiracy theory, Andy Byron's wife Megan Kerrigan was aware of her husband's affair with Kristin Cabot and planned a public takedown -- as the theorists believe that Megan stands to benefit the most out of this critical situation. But the theory leaves out what needs to be explained -- how she could have probably influenced Coldplay to feature her cheating husband on the Jumbotron.
Kerrigan maintained a low profile in the wake of the major public glare in her personal life after she dropped the Byrin surname from her Facebook profile. According to reports, Kerrigan left the multimillion-dollar home in Massachusetts and is now holed up in a $2.4 million Maine mansion. Friends and family members have been visiting her nonstop, the Daily Mail reported.
Megan Kerrigan has not issued any statement, though a statement in her name is going viral.
Experts believe Megan could become a very rich woman as she could take home half of her husband's millions, estimated to be between $20 million to $70 million. According to Massachusett's 50/50 marital laws, those marrtoied for more than seven years must split any assets they built together.
