White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt , who has redefined routine press briefings, has an unusual admirer who is no longer a secret. Earlier this week, Leavitt held a separate influencer briefing instead of just addressing the credentialed journalists. One of them was Bo Loudon , the son of Trump surrogate Gina Loudon and former Republican Missouri state Senator John Loudon. Bo calls himself the best friend of Barron Trump as his interaction with Leavitt set the tongues wagging that he has a secret crush on Leavitt.
Loudon called her an inspiration to Gen Z and asked about her biggest highlight during the first 100 days. In reply, Leavitt said she is not exactly Gen Z but a zillennial, on the cusp of millennial and Gen Z. She said Trumpo was in his 20s when he was making buildings in Manhattan and so certainly he believes in the strength and the ability of young Americans across the country. "Like yourself, here at the White House at just 18 years old. Thanks for being here," Leavitt said.
Loudon posted a photo with Leavitt and wrote: "It's such an honor to be the youngest person to ask @Karolinealeavitt, the youngest Press Secretary in history, a question as part of the New Media Briefings. God bless President Trump, Karoline Leavitt and this incredible administration!"
27-year-old Karoline Leavitt is a new mother and is often commended for juggling her new motherhood with the highly demanding White House job. In December 2023, Leavitt got engaged to 59-year-old Nicholas Riccio, a real estate developer, 32 years her senior. Leavitt had a son with Riccio in July 2024. They got married in 2025, just before Trump's inauguration.
The duo met when Leavitt was running for a Congress seat in New Hampshire in 2022. She won the Republican nomination but lost the election to Democrat Chris Pappas.
