An AIIMS-Delhi female security guard has accused the chief security officer of sexual harassment and hurling casteist remarks at her. The medical institute has initiated investigation against the officer, PTI reported on Friday.
The institute authorities are yet to comment on the matter.
Sources indicate that the female guard has accused the chief security officer of sexually harassing her and making casteist remarks when she approached him about her duty roster.
The provbe will be led by KK Verma, dean of academics and head of the institute's committee for addressing grievances related to SC/ST/OBC, alongside Punit Kaur, head of the biophysics department and chair of the internal complaints committee for sexual harassment.
Both committees have been instructed to submit preliminary reports, along with supporting evidence, within seven days of the memorandum's issuance.
