Michael Jordan’s son Marcus Jordan has dropped a cheeky comment on a social media post, hinting at why he chose to split with his former girlfriend, Larsa Pippen. Marcus, 34, split with Pippen, 50, last year after a much-publicised relationship and showering each other with mushy romantic posts on social media. Marcus’ latest Instagram Story hints that he possibly broke up with Pippen over her wish to have a child with him.
Marcus Jordan reacts to a social media post about women over 40Taking to his Instagram Stories, Marcus shared an Instagram post that went with the headline, “Women over 40 are having more babies than teen moms, for the first time in U.S. history.” Reacting to it, he wrote, “That’s why I switched up lmao jkjk.”
This is not the first time Jordan Junior has thrown shade at Pippen on social media. In September last year, when a fan had asked Jordan about the whereabouts of his ex-girlfriend, he had written in response, “Back where she belongs,” along with a street emoji.
While Jordan’s latest post implies that he pulled the trigger on their relationship, Pippen had hinted in an interview that it was she who called it quits. During her appearance on the Amy and T.J. podcast last year, Pippen had said after her breakup, “I think when you’re alone, you kind of either miss the person or realize maybe you’re not my guy. And I feel like that made me realize that I don’t think he’s my guy. I feel like I have to be true to who I am, what I’m doing, and what he’s doing, you know? I want him to be happy. He’s a great guy, but I just don’t feel like it’s for me. I don’t think it’s the age — it’s just where we are right now.”
Some reports had also suggested that Pippen chose to walk away over Jordan’s drug addiction. Just two months back, the 34-year-old was arrested for cocaine possession.
