THANE: Shiv Sena (UBT) former MP Rajan Vichare visited the three victim's house in Dombivli on Saturday. The victim was killed in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam district, Kashmir.
During the visit, Vichare stated he would demand the state govt provide a govt job to 20-year-old Harshal Lele, whose father, Sanjay Lele, was shot before.
Vichare, along with UBT's deputy leader Vijay Salvi and Kalyan District President Dipesh Mhatre, met the families of Sanjay Lele, Hemant Joshi, and Atul Mone, who were killed by terrorists during their trip to Kashmir.
While speaking to the media, Vichare mentioned that after the firing, Harshal took care of his mother, who was cured from paralysis, and the families of the other two relatives during that difficult time in Kashmir.
Now, since his father is no longer in this world, they demand from the state govt that, apart from giving a govt job to Harshal, the govt should help the families of the three in the form of compensation.
On this occasion, Vichare assured the families of the three that "Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray party is always with you. If any need arises in the future, the party will stand firmly by your side." It was also clarified that continuous efforts will be made on behalf of the party to get appropriate cooperation from the state govt.
Vichare said this incident is very unfortunate, and common citizens are losing their lives due to the negligence of the central govt. The question was also raised as to why the central govt did not make the necessary security arrangements and the presence of soldiers at such a big tourist spot.
On Friday late evening, Forest Minister Ganesh Naik also met the three families. During this time, he assured the families that the central govt would punish the terrorists involved in the attack, wherever they are hiding.
