Indore students shine by securing positions among top 10 state merit list

Indore: Students from Indore once again made the city proud by securing positions among top 10 in state merit list after Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) announced the results of Class 10 and 12 examinations on Tuesday.

The passing percentage of Class 10 students in Indore is 75.42%, while in Class 12, it is 74.54%.

Vaidehi Mandloi from Govt Bal Vinay Mandir Higher Secondary School secured fourth position in Class 12 from humanities stream by scoring 486 out of 500 (97.2%). Aiming to become an IAS officer, Vaidehi was focused on her goal since Class 8. "I stayed away from social media and relied on NCERT books and my teachers' guidance," said Vaidehi. She maintained a balanced routine by indulging in painting, dancing, and sketching during study breaks.

In commerce stream, Kinjal Kingrani, a student of KB Patel Gujarati Girls School secured sixth position in the state with 97% (485 marks). Determined to become the first chartered accountant in her family of entrepreneurs, Kinjal followed a disciplined study schedule. "I studied for 8–10 hours daily and practised past papers with a timer," she said.

Another commerce topper from Indore, Gaurishi Yadav of Shri Cloth Market Girls School, ranked 10th with 96.2% (481 marks). "My parents and teachers gave me a stress-free environment to study. I want to pursue an MBA from an IIM," she said.

Sahil Ratre, also from the commerce stream, secured the 10th spot with 481 marks. A student of JBM School, Nanda Nagar, Sahil maintained consistent self-study throughout the year. "I didn't follow a strict schedule but stayed focused. I avoided social media and used YouTube only for educational content," he said. Sahil credited his father, an accounts teacher, for helping with tough subjects.

In science stream, Dushyant Mawar from Gautampura stood fourth in the state with 480 marks. Son of a govt employee, Dushyant aims to pursue MBBS. "Phones can be powerful learning tools. I used apps and videos to study," he said.

Another achiever in science stream, Niyati Nayak of Barfani Academy, scored 474 marks and ranked 10th in the state. Niyati aspires to become an oncologist. "Cancer care is costly and scarce in India. I want to help change that," said Niyati, who studied 7–8 hours a day.

In the Class 10, Suhani Prajapati from Ujjain scored a remarkable 99.4% (497 marks), securing fourth position in the state. A student of Govt Excellence School, Suhani is daughter of a rickshaw driver and a homemaker. "I want to pursue software engineering through IIT. My father's hard work motivated me to aim high," she said. Suhani is also a district-level judo and karate player but took a break to focus on her board exams.

Apart from Indore students of Barwani and Khargone also brought pride to their schools and families and set inspiring examples of determination, discipline, and dreams.

Radhika Soni, daughter of a jeweller in Barwani, has secured 10th position in Madhya Pradesh by securing 96.4% (482/500) marks in science stream (mathematics) in Class 12.

Another student, Shambhavi Yevale, daughter of a teacher couple in Khargone district headquarters, secured seventh position by securing 477 out of 500 marks in science stream (biology).

Abiyali Bavahir of Mandleshwar in Khargone has secured eighth position in science stream (biology) by scoring 476 marks out of 500.

Lina Yadav of Thikari town in Barwani stood tenth by securing 491/500 in Class 10.
