THANE: At least three people, including the driver of a poultry-laden truck and his two associates, were injured after their vehicle rammed into a stationary excavator on the Nashik highway near Thane early Thursday.
The incident took place around 6am on the Nashik-to-Mumbai lane, when the truck, carrying nearly 1,600 hens from Alephata to Vasant Vihar , crashed after the driver lost control.
The incident led to minor traffic congestion during peak morning hours.
