Rapper Mariah the Scientist, the girlfriend of Atlanta, Georgia rapper Young Thug, reacted to the news of the rapper's release after accepting a plea deal at a Georgia court on Thursday. Reacting to the news, Mariah the Scientist said that it was more than "what we had expected."Young Thug faced up to 125 years in prison on charges of running a street gang who's members have been accused of illegal activities. However, he is set to be freed from prison after judge Paige Whitaker gave the rapper a sentence of 15 years in probation, with five years already served. “Thank you God, thank you God. This is more than what we prayed for," Mariah the Scientist said in a text message to Michael Seiden of WSBTV. "We are so grateful, this is the greatest opportunity we’ve ever been presented with and we are so grateful.
