During autumn and winter, many of us spend more nights at home - and that often involves snuggling up on the sofa with a warm blanket. Anyone looking to invest in a new one that could double as a winter-appropriate decorative throw could consider this cosy tartan option at Debenhams, which is reduced by nearly 70%.
The retailer has slashed the Lyndon Company's Hattie blanket from its original price of £70 to £21.44. It's made from a soft, warm flannel printed in a classic tartan check in shades of red and blue.
It measures 140cm x 180cm, which is great for one person to wrap themselves in, as as an ideal size for draping over beds and chairs. it's also machine washable, which makes it easy to keep looking good. Note that it won't be bigger enough to cover any whole bed that's larger than a standard UK single.
Although tartan isn't necessarily a Christmassy pattern, it can be a great way to add a festive touch to your space before officially dusting off the decorations. It can also be one for anyone who wants to channel the Scottish castle style inspired by The Traitors.
If you prefer more muted tones, Debenhams also sells a similar Lyndon Company throw in a light green tartan, which is also £21.44. For dog lovers, the Hattie blanket is also available in a light grey, featuring Scottish terriers in tartan jackets, and is on offer at the same price.
The Debenhams deal ends soon, but if you miss out on this offer, the same throw is available on Yimbly, the online marketplace owned by Daily Express' parent company Reach PLC, where it has been discounted to £35 in both the red tartan and dog print.
