Keeping a clean toilet is essential household chore that can be quite frustrating. As a magnet for yellow stains and odours, toilet seats often require extra attention. Although chlorine bleach is a go-to cleaning agent for its potent germ-killing abilities, it's not ideal for a surface that sees intimate contact with the body.
In addition to aiming for more gentle solution, bleach can sometimes mask rather than remove toilet stains by merely whitening them. But never fear, a cleaning enthusiast has come to the rescue with a stroke of genius that promises to refresh your toilet seat entirely.
Kelly, of the TikTok channel as @mrsdscleaningreviews, titled her video: "Toilet cleaning hack. The unsightly stains under the toilet seat."
"It doesn't matter how much you try and clean, those nasty stains never come away," she began.
"Bleach does not remove it, it will only discolour it so it's not visible."
Instead, she divulged her secret weapon: "So this is my top secret to banishing it for good and making your toilet seat shine. All you need is a magic eraser."

Showing a stained toilet seat, Kelly proceeds to gently but effectively work away at the blemishes with a moistened magic sponge.
Viewers were astounded as the unsightly stains disappeared, unveiling a gleaming white toilet seat that looked pristine.
One replied: "So freaking satisfying" as another wrote: "So clean and so fresh!"
Magic erasers prove to be a godsend for tackling some of the most stubborn household grime, even when conventional soap and water fall short.
The magic eraser's capabilities far surpass its mundane appearance.
The convenient cleaning tools are made from melamine foam, a porous substance that works wonders in scrubbing away stains from any surface it comes into contact.
You can find melamine sponges from different brands including Flash, Mr Clean, and Elbow Grease from different supermarkets.
A two-pack of Flash Magic Erasers from Sainsbury's comes to £3 whilst at B&M, Elbow Grease Magic Erasers is just £1.50 for three.
