Prince Harry and King Charles made headlines earlier this month when the father-and-son met up for the first time since February 2024. The monarch, 76, invited his son Harry, 41, to enjoy a private tea at his Clarence House home, which lasted just shy of an hour.
While neither Harry, who quit royal life in 2020, or the King have spoken about what was discussed at the meeting, their time together is believed to have been a step in the right direction. This is because Harry had previously claimed in May that his dad would not speak to him as a result of Harry's court appeal regarding his downgraded UK taxpayer-funded security rights.
Speaking about the King and Harry's meeting, royal expert Hugo Vickers gave a surprising five-word verdict on the reconciliation, saying: "I think that was a good thing."
He told The Sun: "We know that the King and Harry had a meeting when he was over here - and I think that was a good thing.
"On a personal level, I think it's very important that the King and Prince Harry should talk.
"Any kind of personal reconciliation between father and son, I think that's terribly important."
While the King may have made the time to see Harry, who visits the UK just a handful of times a year, the duke's estranged brother Prince William, 43, did not.
This is because William and Harry are believed to no longer be on talking terms, with the rift between the brothers having worsened over the years as a result of Harry's questionable actions since quitting royal life, which included writing and publishing his memoir Spare.
Prince William did not even acknowledge his brother's brief return to the UK, and instead carried out his royal duties as usual.
It is not known when Harry and his father plan to meet up again.
