Noel Gallagher has exposed his true feelings for his brother Liam on-stage in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment. According to one expert, Noel expressed "frustration" with Liam as Oasis performed Champagne Supernova at Manchester's iconic Heaton Park - but it was so easy to miss that only the most eagle-eyed fans will have spotted it.
According to body language expert Darren Stanton, speaking on behalf of Betfair Slots, Noel displayed "a very quick microexpression of frustration" when Liam unexpectedly decided to speed up Champagne Supernova. Darren said: "He appears to wince. It's not anger, but he pulls his eyebrows together and squints his eyes.
"It's almost like a nails on the blackboard type moment. Just for a few seconds his facial expression seems to ask 'what are you doing?' It's a very quick microexpression of frustration."
But the boys' overall body language is "positive", Darren said - and it has changed since their opening night in Cardiff.
He explained: "They've done quite a few shows now, so their body language is very different from the opening night. They were still finding their feet at the beginning, but their confidence has really returned.
"As the shows continue they're getting tighter and tighter. During this tour, we've seen a brotherly connection and a deep rapport that we haven't seen for years. There seems to be real trust there. These are things we haven't seen between them in decades.
"Whatever differences they've had with each other, they've clearly buried them. They're as strong as they ever were, if not stronger. We've not seen the brothers like this since the real early days when they first came on the scene."
He added: "They walk on stage with their hands up, which is like a triumph gesture. They're making a bridge with their hands, which is very significant. It's them saying we're back on track. There's a lot of matching and mirroring body language between the two, and they're smiling a lot more than normal."
But with reports the brothers have been staying in separate hotels, could the tour be finished before its time?
