F1 LIVE: Max Verstappen lodges complaint as Lewis Hamilton comment surprises Ferrari

We are building up to this weekend's Bahrain Grand Prix after Max Verstappen closed the gap on Lando Norris at the top of the Drivers' Championship. The Red Bull man, despite his car's deficiencies, held off both McLarens last time out at Suzuka and is now just one point behind Lando Norris.

It was a tougher day for Lewis Hamilton, who finished in seventh place. Both team-mate Charles Leclerc and the two Mercedes reached the chequered flag before the Brit and his ambitions of winning an eighth world title has taken a blow already in the 2025 season.
