
Fresh protests are expected outside an asylum seeker hotel in Epping as police impose new restrictions on those attending.
Sunday will see another protest outside The Bell Hotel in Epping, Essex, after an asylum seeker was charged with allegedly attempting to kiss a 14-year-old girl. Hadush Gerberslasie Kebatu, 38, denied the charge at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court and will stand trial in August.
Essex Police have imposed a ban on face coverings, and protesters will have to stay within designated sites.
A dispersal order will also be in place from 12pm on Sunday until 8am on Monday, giving police the power to remove anyone suspected of engaging in anti-social behaviour.
Essex Police said protest restrictions are necessary after repeated instances of violence in recent days.
