's gripping adventure series, , is back with another thrilling series of 10 contestants split into five teams trekking across Asia in hopes of winning the cash prize of £20,000. The new instalment introduced sisters, Elizabeth and Letitia; former married couple, Yin and Gaz, brothers, Brian and Melvyn; teenage couple, Fin and Sioned and mother and son, Caroline and Tom, taking on the 14,000km race.

This year's formidable challenge kicks off at the Great Wall of China, and the competing contestants must traverse through three distinct Asian nations, China, Nepal, and India, to reach the finish line at Kanniyakumari, India's southernmost point. The BBC detailed the rigorous nature of the race: "Racing across vast distances without smartphones or bank cards, and armed only with cash equating to the cost of flying the route, our teams will be pushed to their absolute limits." Although some have already been pushed to their limits and even brought to tears, fans are certain that contestants Elizabeth and Letitia, who are brimming with confidence, will win the competition.

During the episode, the sisters opened up about their "advantage," over the other teams and shared that they're "well travelled in different parts of the world. We just come together and it's like a mighty force of well-travelled people."

Leticia also shared that their sibling dynamic could be tested as Elizabeth lived in Italy for nine years. However, it was eventually revealed that their experience would pay off as Elizabeth is proficient in Mandarin.

This quickly came into play as the teams scrambled to try and leave Beijing on their pursuit of the first checkpoint, and thankfully the sisters were able to communicate with the locals and get on the correct train ahead of the others.

Fans were also impressed by this skill and quickly took to social media to anticipate their victory. One stated: "I love that Letitia speaks fluent Mandarin, which will really benefit her in this race."

Another praised: "It's so refreshing to see Letitia speaking fluent Mandarin. That will really benefit her in this race."

A third added: "Mandarin will be a difficult language barrier for some of the couples. At least Elizabeth and Letitia know some Mandarin."

One viewer praised: "Elizabeth and Letitia for the win," as another remarked: "A phenomenal first leg from Elizabeth and Letitia."

Despite initially getting on the wrong cable car, Elizabeth and Letitia were the champions of the first mission as they became the first to reach the checkpoint and sign the guest book.
