Selection Process

The selection process in this NICL recruitment will have three stages:

Preliminary Exam: First of all, all the applicants will have to appear for the preliminary exam. This exam will be online, in which objective type (MCQ) questions of 100 marks will be asked. The duration of the exam will be 60 minutes.

Main Exam: Candidates who qualify the preliminary exam will be eligible to appear in the main exam. This exam will also be conducted online and the level of difficulty will be slightly higher.

Regional Language Test: Candidates who qualify the main exam will be called for a regional language test. The purpose of this test is to check whether the candidates are proficient in the language of the region where they will be posted.
