Tesla, the renowned American electric vehicle manufacturer, has expanded its presence in India by opening its second showroom in the country. Following the debut of its first dealership in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in June 2025, Tesla has now inaugurated a new showroom at the Worldmark 3 complex in Aerocity, Delhi. This new outlet will serve customers from the Delhi-NCR region, strengthening Tesla’s footprint in India.

Customers nationwide can book the Model Y through Tesla’s official website. The Model Y, currently the only Tesla model available in India, is offered in two variants: Standard and Long Range. The Standard version, priced starting at around Rs 60 lakh, delivers 235 bhp with a driving range of 500 km per full charge, and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. The Long Range variant offers 335 bhp, an extended range of 622 km, and faster acceleration of 0-100 km/h in 5.6 seconds.

Tesla’s entry intensifies competition in India’s growing electric vehicle market. Domestic manufacturers such as Tata Motors and Mahindra offer electric models like the Tata Harrier EV and Mahindra BE 6, while new entrants like BYD and Vinfast are preparing their launches. BYD sells the Sealion 7 with a 567 km range, and Vinfast is readying two models, VF 6 and VF 7, to challenge Tesla’s offerings.

With its expanding network of showrooms and charging infrastructure, Tesla aims to capture a significant share of India’s EV market, catering to customers seeking premium electric crossovers with advanced technology and impressive range. The Delhi showroom marks an important step in Tesla’s mission to accelerate India’s transition toward sustainable mobility.
