Send Push

TSB appears to be having issues with its banking app this afternoon, with hundreds of customers unable to access their accounts.

Outage tracker DownDetector shows issues started around 12pm, with 1,300 complaints recorded shortly after 2pm. It coincides with pay day for millions of Brits.

Some people say they're being greeted with the following message when trying to log into the TSB app: "We weren't able to do that. Service temporarily unavailable."

Second time its been down in under a week - got bills to pay and currently on hold to TSB now no luck. Not happy with this, if this is the service I am getting I will look for alternative options!"

Another said: "Why is the mobile app down and how long is this going on for." A third person posted: "App is down. How long to fix it?" A fourth commented: "As usual it’s payday and @TSB banking app is down."

TSB has confirmed it is experiencing issues in a reply to one customer, with the high street bank saying: "We're aware some customers are experiencing issues with our Mobile Banking app and Internet Banking.

"We're sorry for any inconvenience and are working to resolve this as soon as possible." The Mirror has contacted TSB for comment.
