Tasha Ghouri reveals truth behind Andrew Le Page split and 'lots of tears'

Love Island star Tasha Ghouri has opened up about the gradual collapse of her relationship with . fell for former estate agent 30, while they were contestants on the reality dating show in 2022.

The pair were contestants during the eighth season of the show - and while and proved to be the overall winners of the show that year, Tasha and Andrew proved to be something of a hit with fans and made it all the way to the final as partners. They then embarked on a romance that seemed to only get stronger and stronger.

In 2024, Andrew threw his support behind Tasha while she was competing on Strictly - where she was paired with Aljaž Škorjanec and made it to the final. Fans were then left shocked when Tasha and Andrew split in February this year - weeks into the 2025 Strictly Live tour.

But while the former couple appeared to be at their strongest during the weeks of Strictly, it appears that things may have been secretly unravelling behind the scenes. In a new memoir, titled Your Superpower, Tasha has opened up about the collapse of her relationship with Andrew - blaming the strain of Strictly as the catalyst for the romantic meltdown.

The reality star writes: “It’s a long process, but it's really about having people out there, in other people to help them find their self-confidence with their disability.

“I knew deep down it wasn’t right. There were a lot of tears and it was a really hard time. Andrew was the man I was going to marry. We had discussed having children.”

The revelations come just weeks after Tasha opened up about her split with the . Opening up about moving in to a new house after ending her romance with Andrew, Tasha told us: “It’s a new chapter. It’s a new beginning and it’s all about embracing that and that’s what life is about.”

This too was after she hit out at speculation over the end of her relationship with Andrew - stating on TikTok: "No, I ended the relationship. there was many things behind closed doors."

Another fan had commented: "I personally think Tasha and Andrew should be commended neither of them have said one nasty thing about each other sometimes you can love someone but not be in love with that person any more. So lets." The star replied: "Always will still care for him!! Exactly you said we're on good terms and don't hate each other x."

One fan said: "Seems like andrew lost the dog too," but Tasha reassured fans they're sharing custody of their rescue pup. Tasha said: "Incorrect he gave her to me cause he's in Guernsey and we're sharing her. We're both still on good terms."

News of Tasha and Andrew's split emerged in February with a report claiming the couple had agreed to go their separate ways after two and a half years. A source told The Sun at the time: "Tasha was madly in love with Andrew but the cracks started to show when she appeared on Strictly.

"She gave her all in that competition. Her focus was purely on her dances with Aljaz and that drove a wedge between them as time went by. They talked about ending their relationship at the start of January and she’s pretty much heading out on the Strictly tour as a single woman."
