Benjamin Sesko has been handed his full Manchester United debut against Grimsby in a side that includes Kobbie Mainoo andAndre Onana. The Red Devils take on the League Two side in the second round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
And bossRuben Amorimhas not been afraid to shuffle his pack. Onana has regained his place between the sticks having seen rival goalkeeper Atlay Bayindir start each of United's opening two Premier League games against Arsenal and Fulham.
Regular faces Diogo Dalot, Harry Maguire and Patrick Dorgu are handed places in the defence, and are joined by youngsters Ayden Heaven and Tyler Fredricson.
There are a couple of surprises in midfield. Manuel Ugarte is at the base of the side, while Kobbie Mainoo has been drafted in. The United academy graduate currently faces an uncertain future at Old Trafford amid reports that he would be open to leaving before Monday's transfer deadline.
Amad has been chosen in attack, with summer signings Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko leading the line against Grimsby. The latter has so far been restricted to just two substitute appearances since his big-money switch from German side RB Leipzig.

Explaining why the forward remained on the bench in the weekend's draw with Fulham, Amorim said: "We tried to imagine what is going to happen during the game.
"Our team needs to be consistent in the way that we control the game and we need to have options to play a different game on the bench. Sesko has had two weeks for us, he is trying to understand everything. We need to wait a little bit to help the player. We just want to win the game and try to help all of our players."
United will learn their potential third round opponents on Wednesday evening, with the draw set to take place. There will be a pre-draw to determine whether those sides in European football will be at home or away. Those clubs will be separated in the draw itself.
