Strangers didn't recognise Robbie Williams in Amsterdam as he asked them for selfies over the weekend. The singer went to the Dutch capital to enjoy some chill-out time with his wife and family.
While he was strolling around, he decided to ask strangers for selfies, similar to how he is constantly asked due to being famous. However, the majority of those asked didn't recognise the star.
Wife Ayda was behind the camera while Robbie approached the strangers, simply asking them for a photo. All but one person had no idea who he was as he approached.
Ayda can be heard asking: "Ok so what's the plan Williams?" As Robbie replies: "The plan is, well to get the camera on me. I'm going to ask people if they'll have a picture with me.

'I'm just going to walk up to random people and go 'Will you have a picture taken with me?' You're going to film, but you've got to hold it there [discreetly]."
The first woman seems completely confused as when asked for a picture, she replies: "A picture with me? Why? Why?" Robbie responded: "I just want to have a picture with you," before the woman repeats: "But why?"
However, the next person seems much more keen, as when asked, he says: "Yeah sure." Robbie then asks a variety of other people before finally, one woman knows who he is.
Along with her friends, she says: "Oh, it's Robbie Williams!" Fans of the star took to the comment section as they couldn't believe only one person knew who he was.
One said: "Why did only one person recognise you. i would have in a second," as a second wrote: "Why? WHY? If Robert Peter Williams kindly asks for a pic, you don’t ask him why. Let’s start there."
Another commented: "Hehehe so very Dutch, that's why famous people love to come here. They can mostly walk around anonymously, we're not star-struck." A fourth added: "I love the fact that it’s so typically Dutch that the majority of the people don’t even recognise him or just stay calm."
This comes as Robbie was confirmed as the FIFA Music Ambassador ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025. He has written and recorded a song ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025.
The song Desire will be used across all future tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup 2026 and beyond. The new anthem will be played as teams walk onto the pitch at every FIFA match.
