PS Plus is back with a fresh batch of Essential games, dropping Lies of P and two other cracking titles onto the service for players to dive into.
The latest PS Plus drop is officially en route following its early reveal, and we're rather excited. This August offering follows a successful run for the service, which surprised everyone by delivering Cyberpunk 2077 to players in the PS Plus Extra and Premium July drop. Abiotic Factor also joined the service in the same delivery alongside the second July Xbox Game Pass drop, while Diablo 4 was a dark modern classic treat in the PS Plus Essential July announcement.
Subscribers have been spoilt with top-notch games recently, and this month is no different with Lies of P, Day Z and My Hero One's Justice 2 making their debut, ensuring players are battling for survival regardless of their game choice. Despite survival being a common theme, the games offer variety with My Hero Academia's more cartoonish style contrasting with the grim and gritty Day Z, and the skill-demanding Lies of P. It's an impressive lineup, and thankfully, there's not long to wait before it pops up in libraries everywhere.
So, when exactly can we expect to get our hands on Lies of P and the rest? Here's what you need to know about the PS Plus Essential August games release time.

PS Plus Essential August games release timeThe PS Plus Essential August games are set to be released at 2am PDT / 5am EDT / 10am BST on Tuesday, August 5. This is a known fact as the games in any given PS Plus drop have always been launched at this time, regardless of whether they're part of the Essential, Extra, or Premium services.
However, an hour before this, at 1am PDT / 4am EDT / 9am BST, will be your last opportunity to add the previous PS Plus Essential games to your library. So, you'll want to grab Diablo 4, The King of Fighters XV, and Jusant before they revert back to the realm of paid games. It's a pretty good deal for players, but it does have a way of sneaking up on you, so make sure that you've secured these titles. After all, Diablo 4 shows no sign of stopping, so you might want to get on the train now.
