Oasis fans believe the group will tour next year, and they have the perfect UK city for their final show. Noel and Liam Gallagher surprised millions when they confirmed Oasis would reunite for the first time in 16 years. They have since performed a string of sold out shows across the world, with their final UK show at Wembley in London yesterday (September 28).
But fans believe the band will carry on performing despite no announcements of further touring. Liam Gallagher told the Wembley crowd on September 27 they would see everyone "next year" but details are yet to be confirmed of new touring dates.
Fans believe the band will carry on for good, but if it does end next year, then listeners believe they have the perfect location for one last show.

It comes as some believe the group will play Knebworth next year, with bogus tour schedules shared among excited fans. A fan took to the r/Oasis Reddit page and asked: "Final gig?
"It's pretty obvious that Oasis will be wrapping up this lap of honour next year with a series of final gigs.
"I know people have been begging for Knebworth, but if you consider Oasis management have denied this publicly several times, plus the fact the venue isn’t even good, let’s assume this isn’t happening. How do we imagine this tour to end?
"I like the idea of a couple of Europe warmup venues early in 2026, and then a five-night Hyde park residency next year, followed by five-night Etihad residency, finishing where they began."
Though some wondered where the band would bow out, many agreed the final show from Oasis should be in their home city. One fan wrote: "The final reunion gig should be in Manchester."

Others believe the band will continue on for much longer, and that a farewell gig is nowhere in sight. One suggested: "I don't think the reunion is going to end, but to be an ongoing thing."
Another added: "Why are people so set on the band breaking up after the concerts?" A third wrote: "I can remember when the Manchester gigs in 2005 were supposed to be the final gigs. Likewise Reading festival in 2000 was going to be it too."
Many believe if a final show were to come about, then it would have to be in Manchester. While there is no hint of either a new show or fresh material from the group, some are hoping the band creates some new music.
One wrote: "No way this is the end. I think they were testing the waters to see if oasis fit into the modern music landscape."
Another agreed, writing: "Neither Liam nor Noel were ever keen on being solo artists, and by all accounts they're both having a grand time on this tour. With every successful gig it seems more and more likely they're going to be sticking around."
Fans do believe Liam's four-word comment confirmed another tour next year. On Saturday night, ahead of the final song, the singer hinted the band would be back for more as he said: "Thank you for keeping the faith. See you next year."
