A 'multi-vehicle crash' on the M60 has sparked five-mile delays.
The collision forced lanes to close on the motorway near Stockport, Greater . National Highways warned of delays of around one hour due to the incident. It said: "The event is expected to clear between 08.30am and 08.45am on 6 May 2025. Normal traffic conditions are expected between 09.15am and 09.30am on May 6, 2025. There are currently delays of 1 and a half hours against expected traffic." In an update at 7.47am, National Highways said the scene had now been cleared, although long traffic delays remain. The agency warned: "There are resulting delays of 60 minutes however these should begin to ease."
