One favourite has opened up on his new bond with a new co-star amid a major DNA twist on the soap.
Mike Parr, who plays Ross Barton, revealed all on the "instant click" he shared with new pal and colleague Bradley Riches. Bradley will debut as Ross' secret brother Lewis Barton next week, and things are a little rocky to begin with.
The same cannot be said for the actors playing the siblings, as they clicked straight away. The pair have developed a nice bond offscreen as a result, ahead of a relationship being formed onscreen for the Barton brothers.
Speaking to The and other press, Ross actor Mike told us how it had been working with newcomer Bradley, and he had nothing but praise for the actor. He said: "I’m not just saying this because he’s here, I’m saying this because he paid me! It’s been such a breath of fresh air to have Bradley here.
"He reminds me so much of working with Verity [Rushworth] and how well we get on. It was an instant click. He’s been such an important part of the show for cast morale in the building but also bringing a new generation of audience members into the show."

Mike also discussed Ross' feelings to find out he has a brother, after losing so many loved ones: " Having lost his younger brother Finn, his mum and dad, as well as two girlfriends, Ross will be torn by the arrival of Lewis next week.
Mike explained: "It’s quite hard for Ross to get his head around because he’s lost so many people that he loves. There’s so many similarities between this character and Finn that he puts his walls up because he can’t emotionally afford to lose anybody else.
"It takes a little while for Ross to let his guard down. But you’ll see that the character is quite infectious and it’s hard for Ross to say no to him because he is very pure and it reminds him of Finn. It’s been nice for Ross to have somebody on his side, because he was starting to think that he was the touch of death.
"Everybody he gets close to seems to get killed off. He’s lost two girlfriends, four family members and he’s had a lot of unlucky situations." With scenes set to see the brothers "bond" though, Mike revealed what fans can expect from the duo.

He teased: "He does want to form a bond with him and go into business. It’s not like Ross is trying to bully his way in. I don’t know if you remember, but Ross had a similar situation with Finn where they had a little weed grow on the side so Ross knows this industry and he kind of likes being a gangster, although he’s softening up.
"He likes what he’s doing for medicinal purposes, trying to help people. They form a little bond and get a little side hustle." Actor Bradley also teased what fans would see of Lewis.
He spilled: "As Ross and Lewis start to get along I begin to find where I place myself within the village. I think Lewis finds the cafe quite a safe space. A lot of nice things happen in the cafe and there’s a natural attraction to it - and obviously Nicola comes with the cafe.
"They grow a bond together and I think this bond is where Lewis finds his purpose within the village. I think Nicola says she’s always wanted a gay son, but now she’s got a gay second son. It’s a really fun duo to be a part of."
