Many chocolate enthusiasts get excited when there is a new flavour of their favourite bar to get their hands on at the supermarket, and fans of Cadbury Bournville are in for a treat as there's two new versions that have just been released that they can have a taste of.

Hot on the heels of the new Crunchie Marvellous Creations flavour, lovers of dark chocolate bar Bournville can now try a salted caramel version as well as a chopped hazelnut bar, which also comes with salted caramel. Brits learned of the chocolate news as it was shared on Facebook on account Snack News & Reviews, which posted photos of the new bars and revealed they had spotted the bar in Sainsbury's.

They wrote: "New Cadbury Bournville Flavours! Simply Indulgent Salted Caramel and Simply Chunky Chopped Hazelnut with Salted Caramel.

"The range has also had a packaging design refresh. Spotted in Sainsbury’s. Coming to other shops soon."

Many shoppers and chocolate lovers were excited as one person exclaimed: "I need these."

While another added: "I’d go with the Salted Caramel. Dark chocolate usually has a bitter taste but not always."

A third chimed in: "That salted caramel one looks incredible."

While a fourth person asked their partner to "look out for" the Salted Caramel version in-store.

A fifth also tagged their friend and told them that the Chopped Hazelnut bar was 'definitely made for them'.

Despite many positive reactions, one person moaned: "I'm a fan of Bournville chocolate and the orange one, but we need more exciting flavours than these, been done to death.

"I wanna see a decent raspberry chocolate on the market or some fruity dark choc twists."

Shoppers will be able to buy both the new flavours, which come with a recommended retail price (RRP) of £2.20, at retailers nationwide from later this month.

They're already listed on Sainsbury's website but aren't available to order yet.
