The Big Brother house was left speechless last night after contestant Caroline shouted an offensive remark to transgender star Zelah, resulting in the 56-year-old receiving a formal warning from the ITV2 show. Now, viewers have rallied around one particular contestant because of how they handled the intense situation.
During last night's show, Caroline asked contestant Nancy who she 'would s**g' in the house if she were on a desert island during a game of spin the bottle. Nancy said that she found Zelah the most attractive in the house, with Caroline blurting out, "She's a girl!", in horrifying scenes.
She quickly added: "No you're not," as the housemates visibly cringed at the comment and Zelah left the room. Caroline was then called to the Diary Room where Big Brother gave her a formal warning over her offensive language.

After fellow contestant Feyisola shut down Caroline during the conversation and quickly comforted Zelah, many viewers have been calling for them to win the whole series. One fan wrote on X: "This diva is such a pure angel. Feyisola is someone who will always have your back, and the way she justified Zelah's emotions tonight was so beautiful to watch. She is my winner!! #bbuk."
Another said: "Yes, I am now rooting for Feyisola to win and I want George to lose. #BBUK." A third wrote: "Honestly I have mad love for Feyisola and Cameron K. They are so humble. They're not making excuses for Caroline's behaviour like the rest of them #BBUK."
Alongside a video of Feyisola shaking her head after Caroline asked Zelah what he would do if he "had a c**k", a fourth wrote: "feyisola clocking the inappropriateness IMMEDIATELY iktr #bbuk."
Others said that Feyisola was their "favourite housemate" so far, while another wrote: "Feyisola is such a good friend and her soul is beautiful, I want her or Jenny to win #bbuk."
Yesterday's episode also saw the housemates nominate one another ahead of Friday's eviction, with four stars set to face the public vote later this week. After the cast made their nominations in the Diary Room, it was revealed that Cameron B, Elsa and George had received the most and will therefore face Friday night's public vote alongside Richard - who received the cursed eye earlier in the week.
Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
