Dieticians also advise that while making roti in this season, do not keep it for too long, and try to make the roti fresh. Adding a few drops of desi ghee to the food also improves digestion and also enhances the taste of the roti.

1. Wheat Flour Halwa
Roast wheat flour in ghee and add jaggery or sugar and dry fruits to it. This traditional dish gives energy to the body and can also protect you from cold and cough during monsoon.
2. Jowar Chilla
Mix jowar flour with curd, salt, spices and chopped vegetables to make a pancake-like batter and bake it on a pan. This recipe is rich in fiber and iron.
3. Chickpea flour dhokla (Besan Dhokla)
