Germany On Operation Sindoor: Germany has supported India's Operation Sindoor launched against terrorism . German Foreign Minister Johann Wadeful said that India has every right to defend itself against terrorism. Along with this, he also strongly condemned the Pahalgam terrorist attack.
He said, "We are shocked by the brutal terrorist attack on India on April 22. We strongly condemn this attack on civilians. Our deepest condolences go out to all the victims and their families. After military attacks on both sides, India certainly has every right to defend itself against terrorism."
'Promoting regular dialogue on the fight against terrorism'
The German Foreign Minister further said, "The fact that a ceasefire has now come into force is something we greatly appreciate. What is important now is that this ceasefire remains stable, so that dialogue can take place to find a bilateral solution to that conflict, taking into account the vital interests of both sides. Germany and India have been promoting regular dialogue on the fight against terrorism for years and we intend to intensify it further."
What did S. Jaishankar say?
He said, "I have come to Berlin immediately after India's response to the Pahalgam terror attack. India has zero tolerance for terrorism. India will never succumb to nuclear blackmail and India will deal with Pakistan in a completely bilateral manner. There should be no confusion on either side in this regard. We also value Germany's understanding that every country has the right to defend itself against terrorism."
