Navi Mumbai: In the wake of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, which claimed the lives of 28 Indian citizens, the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) party has organized a condolence gathering to pay tribute to the victims.
The event took place on April 23 at 4:30 PM, at Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk, Vashi. The party has called upon all its office bearers, Shiv Sainiks, members of the Women’s Wing, and affiliated organizations to attend the gathering in large numbers and express solidarity with the bereaved families.
In a joint appeal, senior party leaders including Vitthal More (Deputy Leader), M.K. Madhavi (Chief Coordinator, Navi Mumbai), Pravin Mhatre (District Chief – Airoli), Prakash Patil (District Chief – Belapur), Ranjana Shintre (District Organizer – Navi Mumbai), and Mahesh Kotiwale (City Chief – Airoli) urged the public and party cadre to unite in mourning and send a strong message against terrorism.
Describing the attack as “cowardly and condemnable,” party leaders emphasized the need to stand together in times of national grief and reaffirm the country's resolve against such acts of violence.
The tribute included prayers and a moment of silence for the victims, reflecting the party’s commitment to peace and national unity.
