Dr Avinaash V Rai: From Theater To Film Production & Hotelier

Dr. Avinaash V. Rai, a visionary film producer, has risen to prominence in the entertainment industry, transitioning from the world of theater to establishing himself as a successful name in movie production. 

Dr. Rai made his debut in the film industry with the 2016 movie Do Lafzon Ki Kahani, starring Randeep Hooda and Kajal Aggarwal. Directed by Deepak Tijori, the film received widespread appreciation from audiences and marked the beginning of Dr. Rai's journey as a film producer.

However, before stepping into films, Dr. Rai had already made a name for himself in theater, producing critically acclaimed plays such as The Book of Passing Shadows, Handicapped City, Sakharam Binder, Ashwamedh, and Birpurush. Additionally, he expanded his creative portfolio by venturing into the production of independent music. 

Dr. Rai's path to success was far from easy. From managing the challenges of funding theater productions to coordinating large film sets, his journey was marked by perseverance and determination. Despite facing numerous hurdles, his unwavering passion for cinema propelled him forward. After the success of Do Lafzon Ki Kahani, Dr. Rai gained the confidence to dream bigger, leading to a series of successful projects. 

In 2025, Dr. Rai is set to make waves in the industry with the announcement of three new films. His dedication to his craft has also led him to collaborate with National Award-winning directors and take his movies to prestigious film festivals.

One of his upcoming films, Venkya, directed by Sagar, has already garnered accolades, including an award at the Goa Film Festival & apart from Goa, the film has been screened at the KIIF  (kalinga  film festival bhuvneshvar ) also and now it has officially  been selected to be screened  at 16th Bengaluru International Film Festival 2025.

Beyond his achievements in the film industry, Dr. Rai is also a hotelier, a venture tied to his family business. Coming from a middle-class background, with a father who served in the army and a homemaker mother, Dr. Rai's journey has been one of resilience and hard work. He is deeply committed to creating opportunities for those in need, aiming to provide jobs to deserving individuals. 

Avinaash was born and brought up in Mangalore Karnataka. After his schooling, he completed his graduation in Govt College Mangalore, after his graduation he studied law in S.D.M law college mangalore karaoke.so far he has 3 restaurants in Mumbai & also his associate with social welfare R.K. HIV AIDS Research & care center where he plays pivotal role in organizing over 29,500 medical camps in India, which benefited 3.65 crore people.

Currently, Dr. Rai is collaborating on two additional films with director Sagar, further solidifying his position in the industry. With Venkya nearing its release and several new announcements on the horizon, Dr. Avinaash V. Rai continues to inspire with his remarkable journey from theater to the silver screen.
