Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh): As the monsoon has hit the state of Madhya Pradesh, emergence of reptiles has become frequent. With this, deaths due to snake bites are also being reported frequently in the state.
In the recent incident, two young siblings died from snakebites just seven days apart. The incident was reported in Chhatarpur’s Runman village under Lavkushnagar police station area on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as 8-year-old Aryan, son of Lakhan Prasad. He was bitten by a poisonous snake while sleeping on his bed.
The family rushed him to Lavkushnagar hospital, but it was too late - the child had already passed away. Upon checking the bed, the family found a dead snake, which they took to the hospital with them.

The family is in deep shock and mourning after losing both children in such a short time. Villagers are also stunned and saddened by the tragedy, with many describing the situation as unbearable.
The father, Lakhan Prasad, and his family are completely shattered, with cries of grief echoing throughout the village.
