After a nine-wicket win over Sri Lanka, the Indian women's team defeated South Africa by 15 runs in the second match of the tri-series. In the match played in Colombo on Tuesday, India scored 276 runs for the loss of six wickets in 50 overs based on Pratika Rawal's half-century. In reply, South Africa was all out for 261 runs in 49.2 overs. For them, Tajmin Brits scored the highest 109 runs. Sneh Rana took five wickets while Arundhati Reddy, Sri Charani, and Deepti Sharma took one wicket each.

Despite this, the opener completed her century. She was dismissed after scoring 109 runs in 107 balls with the help of 13 fours and three sixes. Apart from her, Anneri Dirksen scored 30, Suni Luus scored 28 and Chloe Troyan scored 18 runs. At the same time, Lara was dismissed after scoring nine, Karabo Miso seven, Klas two, and Laba eight runs. At the same time, Nadine de Klerk and Ayabonga Khaka could not even open their account.
