Bollywood's Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan is known for his acting and outspoken opinion, but recently his silence has sparked a new debate on social media. Big B's silence on Operation Sindoor

Late night on 7 May 2025, the Indian Army, in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, carried out precision strikes on nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and PoK. This operation was named 'Operation Sindoor'. This operation is being appreciated across the country. Dozens of Bollywood stars, including Anupam Kher, Kangana Ranaut, Ritesh Deshmukh, and Nimrat Kaur, praised the army on social media and raised slogans of 'Jai Hind'. However, Amitabh Bachchan shared a cryptic post on this occasion, too, in which only "T 5372" was written. Neither was there a mention of Operation Sindoor in this post, nor was there any clear message. Earlier also, during the Pahalgam attack, Amitabh had made similar mysterious posts, which only had a post number. Seeing his silence, users vented their anger on the social media platform X.

Users are furious over silence

Users made various comments on Amitabh's silence. One user wrote, "How long will this silent drill continue?" Another taunted, "What brother... will you write something or will you just keep writing numbers. Is this the recipe to make it 50 million? Congratulate the Indian Army on Operation Sindoor. Vijay Dinanath Chauhan had saved the honour of Sindoor."

Users taunted Rekha

Some users made fun of Rekha by linking this occasion to her. One comment read, "Brother...now it seems that Rekha ji did the right thing." Another wrote, "Jaya ji does not let us write further." Apart from this, a user wrote, "It seems that love letters are being written to Rekha ji in code words."

Big B was seen in these films last year.

Talking about the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was seen on screen in 'Kalki 2898 AD' last year, i.e. in 2024. His performance in this film was well liked by the audience. Apart from this, he was also seen in 'Vettaiyan' with Rajinikanth after a long time.
