Radhika Madan reacts to plastic surgery rumours: 'I look like Kareena Kapoor'

In the digital age, where artificial intelligence can alter appearances in a heartbeat, even celebrities find themselves battling fake narratives. Recently, actress Radhika Madan joined the list of Bollywood stars who have become the subject of cosmetic surgery rumors after a digitally altered video went viral. A video shared by an Instagram user claimed that the Angrezi Medium actress had undergone aesthetic procedures, sparking widespread online chatter.

Viral Video Sparks Online Debate

The buzz began with a manipulated video on Instagram, where Radhika was allegedly seen sporting a dramatically altered look. The caption paired with the clip claimed, “Remember Ishani from Colors TV? Radhika Madan looks completely transformed post cosmetic enhancements.” The post quickly gained traction, drawing comparisons between Radhika and Mouni Roy—an actress who has previously been at the center of similar rumors.

The user went so far as to suggest that Radhika had taken inspiration from Mouni Roy, fueling assumptions that her appearance was the result of surgical enhancements. This line of comparison became the central talking point in online discussions, with many users adding their own opinions to the mix.

Radhika’s Classy and Humorous Rebuttal

Unfazed by the growing speculation, Radhika took to the comment section of the viral post and responded with a dash of humor and grace. She quipped, “Is this all AI could manage—just lifting my eyebrows a bit? Go ahead, try harder. This still looks more natural than most edits.” Her witty comment quickly won over fans, who praised her for shutting down the misinformation without losing her cool.

Radhika’s Take on Cosmetic Enhancements

This isn't the first time Radhika has spoken on the subject of cosmetic procedures. In an earlier conversation with News18, the actress shared her thoughts candidly. She explained that while she has never felt the need to undergo surgery herself, she doesn’t criticize those who do. “I believe that if something helps a person feel more confident and boosts their self-worth, it's valid. I never judged anyone who chose that path,” she said.

Radhika recalled how she was once told that her jawline was slightly uneven. “What did they want me to do—carry a ruler around to fix it?” she laughed, adding that she never took those comments seriously. “In my head, I was Kareena Kapoor. If others didn’t see that, it’s their problem.”

Mouni Roy Also Breaks Her Silence

Mouni Roy, often dragged into plastic surgery conversations herself, recently addressed similar criticism. When asked how she reacts to online trolling and mean-spirited remarks, she responded confidently: "Kuch nahin. Dekhti hee nahi. Let everyone do their job…I do not pay attention to such remarks. If you hide behind a screen to troll others and if you find happiness in that so be it."

Mouni’s Upcoming Horror-Comedy Film

On the work front, Mouni is gearing up to play a spine-chilling ghost named Mohabbat in the much-anticipated horror-comedy The Bhootnii. The film features a dynamic cast including Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Singh, Palak Tiwari, Beyounick, and Aasif Khan. The movie is scheduled for release in theaters on April 18, 2025.
