New Delhi [India], October 19 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday welcomed the release of party leader Satyendra Jain from Tihar Jail in a money laundering case.
In a post on X, Kejriwal said, "Welcome back Satyendra!"
The AAP supremo was seen hugging Jain in one of the two photos he shared on the social media platform.
After his release from Tihar Jail on bail, Satyendra Jain on Friday launched a veiled attack at the BJP-led central government alleging that the country is headed down a path of dishonesty and atrocities, targeting those who dare to oppose.

"The people should not be scared against the atrocities that are happening in the country. The path that the country is being taken is dishonesty and atrocities. Those who are against this are being punished. Arvind Kejriwal has publicly said that we will not be suppressed by them," he told ANI.
Citing his arrest as an example, Jain claimed that the arrest was aimed at halting progress, including the successful Mohalla Clinic initiative.

"Just because we have fought against injustice they have put us behind bars...Why was Satyendra Jain arrested? So that the Mohalla Clinic does not work," he said.
Meanwhile, Jain's wife Poonam Jain thanked God and the people for supporting them throughout their journey.
"I thank god and the people who supported us in the journey," she said.
The Rouse Avenue Court on Friday granted bail to AAP leader Jain in a money laundering case.
He was arrested in May 2022 in this case and Special Judge Vishal Gogne granted bail to Satyendra Jain.
He has been granted bail on a furnishing bail bond of Rs. 50,000 and a surety bond in the like amount.
After hearing the order Jain's wife and daughter broke down in the court. The court said that Jain has suffered a long incarceration of almost 18 months. (ANI)
