Hyderabad (Telangana) [India] May 7 (ANI): Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday praised the India Armed Forces on successful execution of Operation Sindoor, which targeted nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) on Wednesday, saying that 'Operation Sindoor' must continue until the last terrorist is eliminated.
"It's a commendable job done by our army and defence personnel, and we must appreciate them. We'll stand by them under the leadership of Honourable Prime Minister Modi. This menace (terrorism) has to be eliminated. I think we have to take decisive action like Israel.. India gave a befitting reply by striking terror camps in Pakistan. The entire nation supports Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in the fight against terrorism," Kalyan said in a press conference.
Kalyan also appealed to citizens to refrain from irresponsible social media posts, and said, "do not post on social media at will. Strict action will be taken against those who insult the Indian Army... and those who post posts that undermine the integrity of the country."
Meanwhile, the Government of India has called an all-party meeting on Thursday.
"Govt has called an All Party leaders meeting at 11 am on 8th May, 2025 at Committee Room: G-074, in the Parliament Library Building, Parliament Complex in New Delhi," Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said in a post on X. The government had convened an all-party meeting after the Pahalgam terror attack and the opposition parties had expressed their full support to the government for any action against perpetrators of the Pahalgam terror attack.
Twenty-six people were killed in the April 22 terror attack at Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. The government had said that the perpetrators will face severe punishment. (ANI)
