UPSC Recruitment 2025 Last Date: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released recruitment for various posts in different departments. A total of 84 vacant posts will be filled for the posts of Public Prosecutor and Assistant Prosecutor in CBI and Lecturer in the School Education Department through the UPSC Recruitment 2025 campaign. The application process started on 23 August 2025 and will close on 11 September 2025. Eligible candidates who have not yet applied, fill out the form without any delay.
UPSC job without an exam
No examination will be conducted for the government jobs of Assistant Public Prosecutor, Public Prosecutor, and Lecturer posts. Eligible applicants will be called for an interview round. Its date, time, and venue will be given on the official website in due course. On the day of the interview, candidates will have to bring a printout of the application form and related documents.
Who can apply?
Public Prosecutor: For the post of Assistant Public Prosecutor, one must have a degree in law from a recognized university or institute. For the Public Prosecutor, a degree in law along with 7 years of experience in the bar in criminal cases, has been sought. The age of eligible applicants should be up to 30-35 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per government rules.
Lecturer: One must have a post-graduation and B.Ed degree from a recognized university or institute in the relevant subject. The maximum age limit is up to 45 years (reserved category). Candidates will be recruited for lecturer posts in the School Education Department, Union Territory, Ladakh Administration. After filling the form, pay the fee and click on Submit.
Download the confirmation page and take a printout for further use.
How much salary will you get?
Assistant Public Prosecutor: Basic salary from Rs 44,900 per month (starting salary) to Rs 1,42,400 per month (maximum salary) under Pay Matrix Level-07. In-hand salary, including allowances, is around Rs 84,981.
Public Prosecutor: Basic salary from Rs 56,100 per month to Rs 1,77,500 per month under Level-10. In-hand salary with allowances is around Rs 91,805.
Lecturer: Basic salary from Rs 53,100 per month to Rs 1,67,800 per month under Level-9. In-hand salary with allowances is approximately Rs 87,495.
