This can be the punishment

Section 39 says that no vehicle can run on public roads without a registration number. If someone does this, action is taken under Section 192. There is a provision of fine up to Rs 5000 and seizure of the vehicle if caught for the first time. If the mistake is repeated, the fine can increase to Rs 10000 and the punishment can be jail as well. Therefore, special attention should be paid to these things.
