UPSSSC UP PET Exam Date Announced: Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has announced the dates of the PET exam. According to the released schedule, the UP PET exam will be conducted on 6th and 7th September this time. The first shift exam will run from 10 am to 12 pm, and the second shift exam will run from 3 pm to 5 pm. The UP government has given permission and aided schools, as well as CBSE and ICSE board schools, to set up centers for the PET exam. Due to the large number of candidates, CBSE and ICSE board schools had also sought permission to set up centers.
This year, so many lakh students will participate.
This time, 25.32 lakh candidates have applied for PET. There is relief news for the candidates appearing in the PET exam this year. After passing the PET exam, the candidates will now be eligible to fill out the form for recruitment for up to three years. Earlier, it was valid only for one year. But it has been increased to three years. UPSSSC has implemented a two-level examination system for recruitment to posts up to Group C. UPSSSC shortlists candidates applying for various Group C recruitments for the main exam based on the PET score.
UP PET Exam Pattern
Candidates will be asked 100 questions in the UP PET exam. A total of 100 marks will be given in the exam. Candidates will be given 2 hours for the exam. Candidates will be asked objective-type MCQ-type questions in the exam. 2 marks will be given for the correct answer, and 1/4 mark will be deducted as negative marking for the wrong answer.
