Heavy Vehicle Factory (HVF) under Armed Vehicle Corporation Limited (AVNL) has issued a notification for recruitment to more than 1800 posts of Junior Technician. This recruitment will be on a 1 year contract basis, which can be extended up to 3 years on the basis of performance.

To apply for these posts, candidates must be 10th pass and must have ITI certificate in the relevant trade. Also, at least two years of work experience has been sought. The maximum age limit has been fixed at 35 years, while reserved categories will get relaxation as per rules, OBC will be given 3 years, SC/ST will be given 5 years and PWD will be given 10 years relaxation.
Fees and selection process
The application fee for general category candidates has been fixed at ₹300, while SC/ST/EWS, women and ex-servicemen will not have to pay any fee. The selection process will be in two stages. First shortlisting will be done on the basis of marks obtained in ITI and then there will be a trade test. The final merit list will be based on ITI marks and trade test performance.
Salary and facilities
Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs 21,000 per month. Apart from this, IDA, special allowance and 3% increment will also be given every year.
