Jamie Carragher has explained why Arsenalmay have the edge over Liverpool in the Premier League title race - as Roy Keane praised one member of Mikel Arteta'ssquad in particular.
The Gunners rescued a late draw against Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon, leaving them five points behind leaders Liverpool in the Premier League table.
Arsenalwent into the game having won five of their six matches in all competitions this season, with the only blemish being a 1-0 defeat to Liverpool before the September international break. Gabriel Martinelli scored a 93rd-minute equaliser for Mikel Arteta's side after Erling Haaland put City ahead inside the first 10 minutes.

The Gunners made eight new signings during the summer transfer window, including the arrivals of Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke, Christian Norgaard, Cristhian Mosquera, Eberechi Eze, Martin Zubimendi, Piero Hincapie and Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Carragher praised the strength in depth of Arteta's squad ahead of the clash against City, with the former Liverpool defender saying Arteta has the best set of players in the Premier League at his disposal.
"Arsenal have the best squad in the country," said Carragher during Sky Sports' pre-match build-up on Super Sunday. "The bench is as good as the team on the pitch."
Keane was in the studio alongside Carragher and praised Madueke for the start he's made to his Arsenal career following his move from Chelsea during the summer transfer window.
"We always thought Madueke was a really good player," said Keane on Sky Sports. "He has come into a different environment at Arsenal and is clearly a confidence player.
"He has come to a really good club who are in a really good place and he has brought something to the party."
The comments from Carragher and Keane came before Arsenal trailed in the early stages of the match, Haaland putting the visitors in front after running clear of Gabriel Magalhães. Martinelli dinked a smart finish over Gianluigi Donnarumma to snatch a point for the hosts late on.
