Diversity's Jordan Banjo insists pal Perri Kiely 'needs to go on' I'm A Celebrity

The two dancers attended the on Monday evening to celebrate the nation's achievements from community heros and lifesavers to awe-inspiring children of courage and fundraisers. While on the red carpet, Jordan and Perri stopped to talk with the about the event.

Perri, 28, said to us: "It’s amazing to be here. Pride of Britain is always the most inspirational place you can be. I forgot tissues but I’m sure there will be lots around me." When asked about whether he would ever take part on I'm A Celebrity, Jordan - who is co-hosting the event with - quickly butted in to joke: "Do you want an exclusive…? Only joking.

"But I know he’d be good on it. He’d smash it. He needs to go on it. Soon.” Meanwhile, Perri kept tight-lipped and batted Jordan away. Asked what shows he wouldn’t do, dancer and radio star Perri quipped: “Naked Attraction definitely not. Or Pointless - I’d be terrible at that.”

Perri and Jordan rose to fame on in 2009, with the former going on to take part in short-lived show Splash, The Great Stand Up to Cancer Bake Off Cancer Bake Off and Dancing On Ice. Meanwhile, Jordan appeared in I'm A Celeb in 2016 and then I'm A Celeb... South Africa in 2023.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, Jordan opened up about previously appearing on Dancing On Ice as a behind-the-scenes presenter and his time performing with the group. in March, he shared his views on the programme and how his time on the show is perhaps one of his favourite moments over the course of his career.

He said: "It would be funny, it would be good for me to go on there only because it would be the most hilarious thing anybody has ever seen. We performed last year on and I think it's genuinely one of my favourite performances that Diversity has ever done.

"It was really cool, Ashley said 'Look, I'm going to skate,' it was the first time he'd skated on the show and Perri's a little hack on the ice, 'Who else wants to give it a go?' I said 'Alright, I'll come down the room, I'll get some skates on', before that performance, I took my kids to Lapland UK, they have an ice rink.

"I got on it and within about five minutes, my four-year-old son had to come over and give me one of those penguins, I couldn't stand up! I am useless, if they wanted to ask me to do it, I'd probably go out in the first week."
